For the first time, Jacob Cruickshank, a talented Sussex-based solo artist and acoustic guitarist, will bring his soulful melodies to the stage.
A Warm Welcome to Robbie White

Community Performances and Christmas Spirit
Adding to the holiday cheer, the Leigh Academy Paddock Wood Choir and Phoenix Dance will take the stage with heartwarming performances sure to spark the Christmas spirit.
Christmas wouldn’t be complete without choirs, and this year we are joined by the Paddock Wood Community Voices and Kent Soul Choir, alongside enchanting soloists from the Pauline Quirke Academy and a delightful duet by Alisha & Rachel.
Panto Stars Light Up the Night
No festive celebration is complete without panto! Stars from Wicked Productions’ Snow White will entertain and help light the Christmas tree. about the event
Lights Up is an annual Christmas event held on the last Sunday of November in Paddock Wood. We shut the high street and it turns into a mass of market stalls, with food and drink stalls located in the small car park, a stage with entertainment all afternoon from the local schools, choirs and dance groups and some great music acts. There is free street entertainment, you’ll find Father Christmas in his Grotto, a small funfair located in the station car park and we end the event with special guests switching on our Christmas tree to light up our high street! There is a raffle with lots of great prizes donated from our local businesses. Half of all the ticket sales and all of the proceeds of the Santa’s Grotto goes to a local charity every year.
The Paddock Wood Lights Up committee are a small group of local people committed to bringing the community together during the festive season. We are all small businesses or individuals that live and work in Paddock Wood, who give up our own personal time and resources for free to put on an annual Christmas event for the people of the town to enjoy and bring the community together. The event is completely self-funded by the Paddock Wood Lights Up committee, and we rely on donations, grants, and sponsorship in order to be able to put on the event each year.
